The end of physical life. Catholics see death as a change rather than an ending
Eternal life
Spiritual existence after death of the body. Christians believe people can live after death
Judgement
Judging someone on their actions. Catholics believe God will judge people on how they have lived their lives
Heaven
A condition or place of great happiness, delight or pleasure. For Christians a place of paradise where God lives
Hell
A place of horrors where Satan rules. For Christians, a place of evil and suffering
Soul
The spiritual part of a human that can never die. The part created by God that lives on after the death of the physical body
Resurrection
Returning to life from the dead. Christian belief that Jesus rose from the dead
Magesterium
The teaching authority of the Roman Catholic Church that comes from the Bishops and Popes
