Q

Different beliefs on Barzakh

A

Some believe that the soul’s experience in Barzakh will be affected by the life the person has led is a good or bad, punishment or reward

Others believe that the soul is given a temporary body doing this time. The temporary body will be light or dark, reflecting the good or bad in their life.

To soul will know what its final judgement will be because of the temporary body that it has been given

Q

Impacts of Teachings on Muslims

A

Muslims will aim to be good and be obedient to Allah, holding back from doing evil because they want a good final judgement.

Islam also teaches believers not to be obsessed with possesions or outward appearances. This is because they know that all they have is given by Allah and it is their inner self which will survive after death.

Believe in the reality of eternal punishment for unbelievers causes many Muslims to seek to share their faith. They do this so that others may convert is Islam and eventually share in heaven
