Name the angels
Jibra’il, the chief angel, brought Allah’s message to Muhammed and the other prophets.
Izra’il is the angel of death and is responsible for ending each persons life by taking their last breath
Israfil is the angel of the Last Judgement and is responsible for blowing the trumpet on the day of Resurrection
Mika’il is the angel seen as the guardian of heaven. Muhammed said that he sends rain, thunder and lighting down by the command of God.
How may a person’s behaviour be affected by the recording angels?
A person may be made more aware of their behaviour knowing that the good and bad are being recorded.
They would want to do more good to please Allah and to receive a favourable judgement.
What are angels made from?
They are made from divine light, Nur.
What did Allah create the angels to do?
They were created to carry out the will of Allah and to be completely obedient to him.
What are the angels who record the deeds of humans called?
Honourable scribes. Each person has been assigned two recording angels to record words and actions.
