Yes - however you may be subjected to retaking exams, obtaining more CE and additional pharmacy experience
Can you get CE for precepting a student?
Yes, 5 hours of CE credit if you precept for 160 hours for a student from NC
Do you need to complete CE for your first renewal?
No if you got your license via examination however if you got it via reciprocity you still have to complete CE
When do licenses expire?
On December 31st of each year-renewed annually
Is there a grace period after the deadline for license renewal?
Yes - 60 days
How long do you have to tell the board your change of name, address or employment?
30 days
Since you’re going to be living in VA, do you have to complete CE requirements for NC?
NO suprinsingly. NC says if you want to keep your license you just have to pay the renewal fee and satisfy the CE requirements for your state of residence
What do you need to do if you’ve been out of practice for up to two years?
Obtain 10 CE hours per each year out of practice (half must be live) and take the NC MJPE
