Chance of conflict between states increasingly lowered as world becomes more interconnected as conflict would be too costly. Working together was more logical

A

Encourage growth and spread of free trade as it bolders the “spirit of commerce” between states. Spirit pushes them to work together for profit and gain instead of resorting to violence (this theroy later became interdependence)

A

Wrote book “the end of history and the last man”, in which he believed with USSR fallen, liberal democracies had won globaly and would soon lead to the “end of history” as war and conflict fizzled out

In 17th C, believed rules should be introduced to limit power of rulers, that there should be series of “natural (human) rights) and that gov should be tolerant and ensure rights of its citizens. If it doesn’t do this it should be overthrown
