A
- loss of sensation to palmar aspect of lateral hand including palmer aspect of all of digits 1-3 and lateral 1/2 of 4th digit. (also innervates dorsal finger tips of digits 1, 2 and 3 and the lateral 1/2 of the fingertip of the 4th digit) … picture is worth a thousand words!
- motor: a) unable to move the thumb (abductor pollicis brevis m, flexor pollicis brevis m, opponens pollicis m and b) can’t flex MCP joints nor extend IP joints of digits 4,5 (lateral 2 lumbricals)
