Define Lewin’s 3 Step Change Model
A
Lewin’s three step change model involve three key steps. Step one is the UNFREEZE step which involves the PREPARATION that come prior to the change occurring. The second step is the CHANGE step, where the change in PRACTICE OR POLICY occurs in the business. The final step is the REFREEZE step which is the retiring of the business to STABILITY but making sure the change is ANCHORED.

- Allow stakeholders to feel more prepared for the change to reduce their resistance to it
- Ensure that the change is permanent and successful in the business
- It is simple to follow to ensure the change is introduced properly

- Plan for what actually needs to be changed to support the change (Review policies or Processes)
