hold all client money in a client money account over which my firm has exclusive control at a bank authorised by the relevant banking regulatory body for the jurisdiction
Tell me about how you would handle a client complaint.
I would approach them and understand the complaint being made. I would look to provide reasoned advice regarding the complaint and handle the complaint amicably and I would refer them to a copy of our complaints handling procedure.

I sought advice and guidance on how to act when valuing a nursery for business rates valuation. I was given advice to measure the property on a NIA basis, of which i was familiar with and confident that i could carry out the instruction competently.

Why do you need to act within your scope of competence?
To ensure I have the knowledge, skills and resources to carry out an instruction competently, which helps promote trust in the profession that its member are competent individuals and firms.

I was able to provide a good quality and diligent service by providing a report and communicating to my client the material information on which my advice was given.
