- 6 in my head and 3 fingers up before i start counting
- Go up folding finger with every step
continue pattern:

Pattern means do the same thing, I did

just after 4
- Just after means next on number line
- number line goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, …
- so after 4 is 5
estimate how many dots:

- When you estimate you don’t have to be exact.
- you look at it does it look more like 10 or 20 or 30
- you guess it is arround 20
!!!! estimating is the only thing in maths where you can guess !!!!!

smaller than 6
- smaller are all the numbers that are in front of the number on numberline
- so 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
- smaller are all numbers from 1 to 5, you can choose any of them and will be correct.
what number is:
bigger than 3
- bigger are all the numbers that are behind of the number on numberline
- so 1, 2, 3 , 4 , 5, …
- bigger are all the mnumbers 4, 5, …
!!! … means all the next numbers you know
What number is missing:
1, 2, 4, 5, 6
The numberline goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
so the missing number is 3

just before 7
- Just after means on number line
- number line goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 …
- so before 7 is 6
