What is a curve?
An endless connection of mathematical points.
What is a line?
A straight curve.
What is a ray sometimes called?
A half line.
What is a ray?
A (half) line that begins at one point and continues without end through another point.
What’s the difference between an overbar for a line, one for a ray, and one for a segment?
One for a line has two arrowheads, one for a ray has only one, and one for a segment has none.
What is a line segment?
The portion of a line between two of its points.
How is an angle formed?
By two rays that have a common endpoint.
What is the vertex of an angle?
The common endpoint of two rays.
How do you know if a whole number is divisible by three?
You check if the sum of its digits is divisible by three.
When a number isn’t prime, what is it?
Composite.
