A
Multiply numerator by numerator and denominator by denominator.

Convert the whole number to a fraction.

Multiply the fraction by the whole number.

A
When you make a cross with the fractions to cancel things out before hand.

What does “divide” really mean?
A
Multiply by the reciprocal.

What is an LCM?
A
Least common multiple (when two or more numbers share multiples, the smallest one.)

How do you find an LCM?
A
You take the prime factorization for each number (then say, the first number has two twos, but the second has three twos, you always pick the prime times the most it is.)
