Also called non-state actors, broadly defined as international actors who are largely or completely autonomous from the state.

A financial institution that accepts deposits from the public and creates credit. Issues money, depositing, lending and many more.
Banks
Concerned with managing withdrawals and deposits as well as supplying short term loans.
Examples:
BDO
Metrobank
Security bank
BPI
Union bank of the Philippines, etc.
Commercial/Retail Banks
DOES NOT take depositis.
A financial company that engages in advisory-based finantial transactions on behalf of individuals, corporations and governments.
Focus on providing services such as underwriting and corporate reorganization for institutional clients.

BPI capital corporation
Investment banks
A legal entity that is seperate and distinct from its owners. They enjoy most of the rights and responsibilities that an individual possesses, to emter contracts, loan and borrow money, hire employeees and, own assets and pay taxes.

A type of cooperative - Also known as credit union, promotes thrift among its members and creates funds in order to grant loans foe productive purposes
Credit Cooperative
A type of cooperative - Primary purpose is to porduce and distribute commodities and products to mbers and non-members.
Consumer Cooperative
A type of cooperative - Where members undertake joint production activities be it industrial or agricultural.
Producers Cooperative
A type of cooperative - Aids in producing inputs and provides means by which members can market thei products to consumers by providing retailing cailities and marketing tools with the common aim of increasing common profit.
Marketing Cooperative
A type of cooperative - combines 2 or more business activities in order to producr more profit.
Multi-purpose Cooperative
An organization whose membership consists of workers and union leaders,united to protect and promote thei common interests.
Trade Unions
Organizations which are dedicated into influencing political, economic, social and institutional decisions beyond counyries borders.
