Relationship between any entities that share genealogical origin through biological, cultural or historical descent.
Kinship
Two individuals involved in a socially accepted relationship.
Intimate and long term obligations, fulfilled customary, ceremonial, or legal requirements.
Marriage
Form of marriage where one man marries more thab one woman at a given time.
Polygyny
The wives are the sisters, often called sororates.
Sororal polygyny
The wives are not related sisters
Non sororal polygyny
Mariage of one woman with more than one man.
Polyandry
Several brothers share the same wife. Brothers are considered alephic while the wife is called a levirate.
Fraternal polyandry
The wife spends some time with each husband.
Non fraternal polyandry
A form of marriage in ehich one man marries one woman, the most common and acceptable form of marriage.
