A

trait may be affected by genes around it that may have an effect on the gene- ex: skin, hair, eye colour, height..
- affected by genes around it and has more possibilities of traits and options for instance, different shades of skin colour (white shades can be different)

A

use the product law to determine probability
- multiply the two probabilities
EXAMPLE: 3/4 x 1/4 - 3/16 = 75% X 25% = 18.75%
- simpler understanding: 3/16 is 3 divided by 16 which gives you 18.75%
