When the sender fails to appreciate the distinction between spoken and written

Refers to sounds that impede the transmission of ideas, it can be facial expressions or bodily gestures
Noise
When the sender uses terms that are suggestive or ambiguous in meaning, blurs the true content of the sender’s message
Faulty Choice of Words
The sender reveals too little or too much information, the receiver will struggle to fill the gaps in the message

This Barriers include social taboos (or topics that are usually considered off-limits) and different social strata or classes to where the participants belong
