Bootleggers, speakeasies, organized crime. Al Capone most notorious gangster of this era.
Why was Henry Ford important to the 1920s
Assembly line. Made cars cheaper, therefore more people had access to them. More cars on the roads.
What helped the U.S. to become a consumer economy?
Increased wages and incomes. New products, lower cost, clever advertising. People are now able to make purchases on credit. Therefore buying more of what they want instead of only what they need.
