  3. look for a fact in the AC that proves the conclusion of the argument true
    (any piece of info that justifies the conclusion)

  3. go to ACs
    • look for a fact in the AC that is required by the conclusion
        • need weak language to be the correct AC
        • negation test will prove the AC to be correct if it kills the arguement
