The process of social influence through which
a person acquires the culture or subculture
of his/her group, and while acquiring these
cultural elements, the individual’s self and
personality are shaped.
Socialization
This pertains to a specific setting of a society which includes its culture, language and social components which describes origin, gender and social classification
Social context
This pertains to concepts gathered from beliefs, values and behaviors that are shared by the members of the society to a certain people
Social content
This pertains on the way of interactions that leads to the content of the person. This enables the members of the society to interact, learn and influence each other
Social Process
a process where individual acquires certain
cultural patterns of a society such as values,
norms, customs, traditions and language
trough interaction.
Enculturation
this is considered as most
essential unit or agent in the
socialization process which
educates an individual from
the day he was born to the
time he matures and
experience social and
political engagement.
Family
strengthen behaviors and
values learned from the
family and schools, gives a
person a freedom to
identify and improve
himself, learn independence
and participation
Peer Group
Serve a dynamic and serious role in socialization because it educates the child
academically, socially, and personally, and improve his values, beliefs and attitudes through classroom
discussions and interactions.
School
an influential agent

institutions or organizations
to transform and leave
impact to an individual’s
point of view, values, and
beliefs.
Mass Media
These are both considered as
the ultimate agent of
socialization which gives a
strong influence in a
person’s values and beliefs
through its rules and
practices.
Religion and State
“Yielding to a group pressure. It reflects a relatively rational process in which people construct a norm from other people’s behavior to deterrmine corrrect and appropriate behavior for themselves

Explained deviance is a result of situation when individuals set themselves to reach societal goals despite the absence of conventional means to achieve them
