Colonial Mentality
Means procrastination. Derived from a longer Filipino phrase called “Mamaya na”. It is a poor habit of laziness that results in heavier workloads.
Mañana Habit
Nigas means flame and kugon means Cugon grass that easily burns ot after it is lit. Refers to the attitude of eagerly starting things but quickly losing eagerness soon after experiencing difficulty.

Pamamanhikan
Traditional form of courtship in the PH wherein men introduced themselves wooed women by singing underneath her window at night. Nocturnal in practice.
Harana
Common gesture to greet and means bless. Performed as a sign of respect towards elders and as a way of accepting blessing from elders.
Mano/Mano po
Also known as head of the family, householder, family man
