What is an enthymeme?
A syllogism with one statement left assumed.
What is the main rule for translating an enthymeme into a standard-form syllogism?
Always assume that the enthymeme is VALID.
How can you determine the assumed statement?
The assumed statement can be determined by which terms were used only once in the given statements, then considering the form of the assumed statement which would make the syllogism valid, if possible.

What is a syllogism?
A syllogism is a deductive argument with two premises and three terms. The terms have to mean the same thing in both the premises and conclusion. The middle term also has to be the same in both premises.
