recruiting firm, there are several ways to do so; retained recruiting is a common one.
Retained Recruiting:
It is just like retained recruiting; this requires an outside firm. Unlike retained recruiting, there is no upfront fee with contingency. Hence the recruiters work for staffing agencies

outplacement is typically an employer-sponsored benefit that helps former employees transition into new jobs.

It refers to the process whereby an
employee is encouraged to seek employment with a different organization that offers a better fit for their skill set.

Advertising or announcing a job vacancy is the most common way of attracting people to apply for jobs. There are many ways to do an advertisement. It can be posted in newspapers, journal magazines, bulletin boards, and via internet.
Job Advertisement
Online posting via internet creates more avenues for job advertisements. This is the most common platform for job ads. It displays a quick and reliable way of making the company and vacant positions are known locally and internationally.
Internet Postings
Online job boards such as Jobstreet, Career builder in U.S. may also be useful in announcing job vacancies. These online job ads have a wider reach than the printed “want ads” and are generally expensive than classified ads. Recruitment teams are also quick to access that online ads share some of the disadvantages of their printed counterparts. They tend to generate job candidates, some of whom are unqualified.

Some companies offer recruitment and selection services to clients for a fee. They are also known as “executive search firms operate by having pre-screened or colloquially “head hunters”. Executive search firms can be advantageous to employers who have a limited network of candidates for critical and senior positions and have limited capacity to do rigorous applicant screening and background checking.
Headhunting
In this recruitment method, current employees of the organization ask or refer to people they know to apply for work.
