is essential to the quality of the communication process in general
should include everything that the receiver needs to hear for them to respond, react, or evaluate properly
helps better decision-making by the receiver of the message to get all information
Completeness
does not mean keeping the message short, but making it direct or straight to the point
insignificant or redundant information should be eliminated from the communication
highlights the main message as it avoids excessive and needless words
Conciseness
consider the relevant information about the receiver such as mood, background, race, preference,education, status, and needs
build rapport with the audience
modify your words in the message to suit the audience’s needs
Consideration
is supported by facts, figures, and real-life examples and situations
makes use of words that are clear and that build the reputation
receiver is more connected to the message conveyed
Concreteness
respect the cultures, values, and beliefs of their receiver
create a positive impact on the audience
sender of the message should be sincerely polite, judicious, reflective, and enthusiastic
Courtesy
implies the use of simple and specific words to express an idea
speaker only focuses on a single objective in their speech so as not to confuse the audience
complete clarity of thoughts and ideas enhances the meaning of the message
Clearness
implies that there are no grammatical errors in the communication
increases the credibility and effectiveness of the message
makes use of appropriate and correct language in the message
