What is meant by positive symptoms of schizophrenia?
abnormal behaviours that have been added to an indivuduals’ personality due to the development of the schizophrenia.
Symptoms were not present when the individual was healthy
What is meant by negative symptoms of schizophrenia
The REDUCTION or LOSS of normal functioning due to the development of schizophrenia.
The person loses the ability to do certain things due to having schizophrenia
