The inability to conceive a child or sustain a pregnancy to birth

It refers to ‘most couples have the potential to conceive’ but are less able to do ‘so without additional help’

Occurs when bits of the tissue that lines the uterus (endometrium) grow on other pelvic organs, such as ovaries and fallopian tube
Endometriosis
It can cause the pH to become acidotic, limiting or destroying motility of the sperm

After 2-3 days of sexual abstinence, the man ejaculates by masturbation into a clean, dry specimen jar

The number of the sperm are counted and then examined under a microscope within 1 hour
