What is social change ?
Social change is a process which refers to the change that occurs in a society. Social change occurs when the minority view challenges the majority view and is eventually accepted by the majority.
What do minority groups do to bring about social change ?
They stay committed, consistent and are flexible.
What is the snowball effect ?
When the minority influence has small effect but then this spreads as more people consider the issue being raised until it reaches a tipping point where the minority becomes the majority.
What are the three ways that social change can be brought about ?
Through governments and lawmakers, through dictators and through ,minority influence.
