What are the 5 measures to measure the level of water insecurity?
1) Resources, physical availability of surface and groundwater quality
2) Accessibility of safe water for human and agricultural use,
3) Capacity, the effectiveness of water management to ensure its affordable
4) Use of water for different purposes
5) Environment, water management to ensure ecological sustainability
Why is the price of water important to consider?
The maintenance of infrastructure which dispose of and treat used dirty water are expensive to use to produce clean water.
