Define Fi’l Amr. Give an Example
A
Fi’l Amr indicates the demand of an action by the speaker from the listener
E.g. اِضرِب strike!

How is F’il Amr formed for the second person?
A
Fi’l Amr Haadir is formed using Al F’il Al Mudari’ by:
- Removing the علامة المضارع
- Making the last letter sakin
- Adding a Hazmah al wasl to the beginning (if the letter after the علامة المضارع is sakin)
Note: The Hamzah Al Wasl will be Madhmoom if the Ayn Kalimah is Madhmoom, and it will be Maksoor if the Ayn Kalimah is Maksoor or Maftooh
