Types of Sentence Structure?
Simple, compound, complex, compound-complex
Is one independent clause and one complete thought. It has one verb and one subject.
Simple Sentence
Sentence with 2 or more independent clauses joined by a comma and a coordinating conjunction.
Compound Sentence
1 independent clause and one dependent clause.
Complex Sentence
Contains one subordinate clause and 2 or more independent clauses.
Compound-complex Sentence
Are used to join together 2 independent clauses.
