this VISAYAN dance is honoured as the Philippine National Dance. The dance imitates the movement of the tikling bird as they walk between grass stems. Dodge the bamboo traps set by the farmers or run over tree branches.

this VISAYAN dance demonstrates a mock war dance, a fight between Christians and Moros over the prized latik during the Spanish rule. This is an indigenous dance from the Philippines in which coconut shell halves are equipped onto dancers’ hands and vest on the chest.
