Thick closed wall sac. Containing fluid or semisolid material

Solid skin elevation larger than 1 cm in diameter.

2.Growth of abnormal tissue
3.Forms of papules but larger and deeper
nodule
Solid skin elevation with distance boarders an a diameters is less than 1 cm(pimple)

1.Can cluster into a papular rash
2.Less than 1 cm around
3.Varies in shape
papule
Small, mushroom like growth. (could be a skin tag)

1.Typically benign
2.Extends from surface if mucous membrane
3.Abnormal growth of tissue
4.Attached to surface by a narrow elongated stalk said to be pedunculated
5.No stalk it is said to be sessile
polyp
Small, infected skin elevation containing pus(abscess)

1.Yellowy on the inside
2.Small bumps on skin that contain pus
3.Could be found in clusters
pustule
Open sore or erosion of the skin or lining of a mucous membrane

1.Can occur from injury, poor circulation, or pressure.
2.Take long time to heal
3.Can cause other health complication if left untreated.
ulcer
Small raised skin lesion filled with fluid

1.Could be clear,white,yellow or mix w blood
2.Referred to bluster or bullae
3.5-10 mm in diameter if bigger classified as blister
4.Diameter of at least half a centimeter known as bullae
vesicle
Smooth or slightly swollen area that is redder or paler than the surrounding areas(hives)

1.Raised itchy(pruritic) can be signs of allergy
2.Have reddish hue
3.Can be intensely, infuriatingly itchy
4.Circumscribed dermal edema
5.Can be called welt
