What are lenses
Glass objects that magnify the stuff you see through
What do we use lenses for
To magnify things that are too close or too far away to be seen

the more curved the surface of a lens is, the more it refracts the light that passes through it

Converging lens directing parallel beams to a point
Concave lens
Diverging lens directs beam outwards as if they are coming from a point
