There are 8 stages a bill has to go through to become a Act of Parliament.
Rule of law. Certain and ascertainable.
All debates are televised and laws can be found on the internet.

A

House of Commons has 650 MPs that have been elected by the public meaning they are accountable for their actions.
House of commons has power over the house of lords. Parliamen Act 1911 and 1949.

Lack of clarity

A

Use of obscure language makes the law hard to understand.
Public fail to understand the law meaning it is not ascertainable and go against the rule of law.

Time consuming

A

Takes 18 month for an Act of Parliament to be written.
Long process often means government ideas go through parliament meaning the public who voted on other parties are not being represented.
