Why is there two years per term for the House of Representatives
So they can change it easily depending on the mood of the population
Why is the term for the senate six years
So the population does not change the Senate too quickly

Their pay each year is $174,000
Franking privilege- Free postage on Mail to constituents- people who vote for you
Cannot be arrested for minor offenses well Congress is in session
May not hold another political office at the same time
