The speaker is the presider of the House of Representatives.
Congress
Represents the people of their district by holding hearings, by developing, and voting on legislation.
How does a bill become a law?

2.) Sent to committee
3.) goes to the house or senate to be debated
4.) Talked about on the floor
5.) Goes to the president to get signed or veto.
