Is a set of rules that govern is the way society operates in its another times for law
National living wage
Is an hourly rate of pay which is set by the government. All employees above a certain age must receive at least this rate of pay
Discrimination
Is treating one person differently from another without having a good reason to do so
Part time employee
Works for a proportion of the working week – for example three days each week rather than five
Trade union
He is a group of workers who act together to improve their pay and working conditions
Contract of employment
Is a legal document stating that I was a breach of pay duties and other conditions under which a person is employed

Refers to the range of factors which influence is the way a person behaves at work
Consumer use
I laws that have been introduced to prevent businesses from treating the customers unfairly

- Businesseswillneedto make sure that all their employees are trained and that the training is up-to-date
- This will make sure that the business is legally compliant
- This way the owners will not face fines or prison

Race, sex, age or disability discrimination is illegal in UK business, so businesses must be careful to recruit within the equality law
