What is forgery?
A person is guilty of forgery if he makes a false instrument, to accept it as genuine, and by reason of so accepting it to do or not to do some act to his own or any other person’s prejudice.
What is a forum?
A judicial assembly.
What is a franchise?
The right of voting in a parliamentary or local election.
What is fraud?
A deceit.
What is freehold?
An estate of an uncertain length of duration.
What is freight?
A consideration paid to a carrier for the carriage of goods.
What is full age?
Age of majority.
What is a fugitive criminal?
Any person accused or convicted of an extradition crime committed within the jurisdiction of any foreign state who is or suspected of being in some part of the dominion.
What are funeral expenses?
Reasonable expenses involved in burying a deceased person must be paid out of his estate prior to any other duty or debt.
What are fungibles?
Movable goods which are ordinarily dealt with by number, measurement or weight.
What is a gage?
A pledge. Something given as a security for same act.
What is a garnishee?
One who has been warned by a court order that a debt is to be paid to some person who has obtained a garnishee order against his creditor.
What is a general issue?
A plea by the defendant who traversed or denied allegations in their entirety.
What is a general legacy?
A bequest which does not identify specifically the thing bequeathed.
What is a general lien?
A right to retain possession of another’s goods until all claims against that other are satisfied.
