National living wage
This is a new minimum wage rate for those aged 23 and over

Trademark
A company can register a trademark for its business name, slogans, logos and other items that essentially brand the product or company/indicate the source of the good.
Copyright
Legal protection against copying for authors, composers and artists. It’s an automatic right which protects intellectual property, which means you don’t have to apply for it.
Planning permission
A formal approval from a local authority for the erection or alteration of buildings or similar development.
Why does planning permission exist?
To deter inappropriate development and to be fair to stakeholders including the local community.
