Define Legislation
Information technology law (also called “cyberlaw”) concerns the law of information technology, including computing and the internet. It is related to legal informatics, and governs the digital dissemination of both (digitalized) information and software, information security and electronic commerce.

the exclusive and assignable legal right, given to the originator for a fixed number of years, to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material.
Define Data Protection
legal control over access to and use of data stored in computers.
Define Computer Misuse Act
The Computer Misuse Act 1990 (CMA) is an act of the UK Parliament passed in 1990. The legislation was created to: Criminalise unauthorised access to computer systems. Deter serious criminals from using a computer in the commission of a criminal offence or seek to hinder or impair access to data stored in a computer.

Define Data Breaching
A data breach is a confirmed incident in which sensitive, confidential or otherwise protected data has been accessed and/or disclosed in an unauthorized fashion.
Define Privacy
Internet privacy involves the right or mandate of personal privacy concerning the storing, repurposing, provision to third parties, and displaying of information pertaining to oneself via the Internet. Internet privacy is a subset of data privacy.
