Charcoal swabs

What is management of arterial ulcers?
A
Urgent referral to vascular to consider surgical revascularisation

What does treatment of venous ulcers involve?
A
TVN
Derm if alternative diagnosis suspected
Pain clinics
Compression therapy - after excluding arterial disease with ABPI
Pentoxifylline - not licensed but can improve healing
