What does the Temporomandibular joint do?
Opens and closes the mouth, basically complex movements like side to side movements or chewing

Temporalis
What do the Temporalis’ posterior fibers do?
They retract the mandible
What does the Masseter do?
Elevation and protraction of mandible
What does the Lateral Pterygoid do?
Depression and protraction of mandible
What supplies all muscles of mastication?
Mandibular nerve
What Foramen does the Mandibular nerve pass through?
Foramen Ovale
What does the anterior division of the Mandibular division supply?
Motor supply
What does Middle meningeal artery damage lead to?
Extradural hematoma
How do you damage the middle meningeal artery?
Via lateral blows to the head
