Lecture 9- Numerical and structural abnormalities Flashcards

1
Q

Alternate segregation of a translocation

A

1’s segregate together and 2’s segregate together to give rise to balanced gametes. There is no rearrangement or balanced translocation.

Kids would be normal like their parents

This happens 2/3 of the time
