Antibodies
Specific response to antigen
Humoral immunity
B lymphocytes (B cells) produce antibodies
Cell mediated immunity

When to give colostrum?
Young animals
First 24-48 hours horses
First 12 hours best
Where is colostrum found?
In milk
Vaccine types
Live vaccines (better response, active)
Dead inactivated vaccines
DIVA vaccines
Quantity, quality and quickly - colostrum
Amount, thickness and color, first 12hrs
