Q

what are advantages and disadvantages of using a generic measure?

A

advantage - score can be compared for many disease states and divisions. EVERYONE should be able to answer all the questions whether they have the illness or not

disadvantage - not sensitive to clinically relevant differences for every disease or condition. Doesnt ask “why” you answered yes to a certain difficulty

16
Q

can an instrument be valid but not reliable?

A

NO
in order for an instrument to be valid it must first be reilable

17
Q

responsiveness refers to the instrument’s ability to….

A

detect changes in health status
