Lecture 6 Descriptive Stats Flashcards

1
Q

What are descriptive stats

A

Starting points to understand your data
- most common indicators are measures of central tendencies and measures of variability

  • tells the story of your data

Q

What does it mean when the data is skewed

Q

What type of scale of measurement would be best represented by the mean, median, or mode
