When water is withdrawn it is being used but is still available after. For example water used for cooling down in industry

Through virtual water, we can understand the telecoupling of a certain good with other countries and the environmental pollution related to this water

Going from having a lot of kids to not so many kids
What is the key to demographic transition?
A decrease in mortality leads to a reduction in birth rate
How has the population changed in the last 2 generations?
From 2 billion in 1945 to 8 billion in 2024
Paradox about increase in renewable energy
Renewable energy demand has increased but still production of fossil fuel energy has continued to grow
