Rib 1 is short, very curved, almost horizontal. Contains subclavian grooves and scalene muscle tubercle. Also only has ONE articular facet.

Radiate ligaments.

List the attachments of the diaphragm.
Attaches to xiphoid process, inferior aspect of costal margins. It has an arcuate ligament posterior, ends in a left and right crus, joining to L1/2 and L3/4 respectively.
Of the 3 main hiatus, what is special about the aortic one?
It does not actually go through the diaphragm.
Where are the ICM deficient?
External: Anteromedially.
Internal: Posteriorly.
Innermost: Discontinuous.
