loss or lack of appetite
anorexia
a general term for distress associated with eating that can have many meanings
indigestion

a rising retrosternal burning pain or discomfort occurring weekly or more often

chronic or recurrent discomfort or pain centered in the upper abdomen
non-ulcer dyspepsia
the forceful expulsion of gastric contents out of the mouth

brown/black vomit with a “coffee ground” appearance that suggests blood altered by gastric acid

pain with swallowing

need two: fewer than 3 bowel movements per week, 25% or more defecations with either straining or sensation of incomplete evacuation, lumpy or hard stools or manual facilitation
constipation

no passage of either gas or stool

black tarry stool

stools that are red or maroon colored
