What is amebiasis?

A

Spread feco-oral and ingestion of shitty food.

  • Less common in water
  • Transmission by ingestion of cysts
  • MOST SEVERE DISEASE WITH ABDOMINAL PAIN! 10-12 times of shitty stool bloody hell.
  • Organisms looks like macrophages affect the colon especially the cecum. Liver abscess occurs in 40% of the patients.
