Report the results of a One way ANOVA

A

A one way between/ within participants ANOVA was conducted and concluded that there was/ was not a significant effect of Iv on the DV, F(between df, within d) = f value, P= p value, np2= np2.
Bonferroni corrected post hoc independent/ paired t tests were conducted and showed that level 1 was significantly/ not significantly different from level 2 t(df) = t value, p = p value.

What is a bonferroni correction and why?

A

Dividing the cut off (0.05) by the amount of comparisons you are conducting to reduce the chance of a type 1 error.

Between groups variance= the treatment effect, individual differences and sampling error.
- Each group mean is - from the grand mean.
Within groups variance= Individual differences, sampling error.
-Normal variance.
