Q

Triceps surae functions

A
  • Powerful plantarflexors of talocrual joint (ankle joint)
  • Supinators of subtalar joint
  • Soleus is a 2 joint muscle
  • Gastrocnemius is also a knee flexor (3-joint muscle)
